Floral Tributes Q & A

Why should I send flowers for a funeral?
Flowers should be an integral part of any Funeral, Celebration for Life or Memorial Service. Sympathy florals serve as a tribute to the life of the deceased and add beauty and life to a somber event.

Should I send to the service or the home?
In many cases people choose to send condolence flowers to the home, flowers in our Memorial Flowers collection for example are suitable for either purpose, others are meant to be delivered to a funeral home. See below for further details.

What information do I need for my flower delivery?
If you are sending to the home, please include a telephone number so we can call to arrange a convenient time for the delivery. For the funeral service we usually only require the name of the deceased and day of the service. We will contact the funeral home to arrange the delivery details.

What do I say on the card message?
This is one of our most asked questions. Your relationship with the bereaved determines how personal you wish your card to be. Remember the enclosure card is only slightly larger than a standard business card.
Here a few suggestions:
Salutations from family or closer friends:
“In loving memory of ” or “In Loving Memory”
“Our thoughts and prayers are with you”

Salutations from Business, extended friends and family
“Thinking of you”
“With Deepest Sympathy”
“Our thoughts are with you”
